Mission Statement

Our school welcomes and values children from a diversity of backgrounds. We aim to provide equal opportunities for all to achieve their full and academic potential with consideration of individual needs, within a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

1. We aim to promote respectful, tolerant, aware and creative individuals who participate and contribute to society. We are part of the wider community and as such we endeavour to work in partnership with parents, promoting a sense of shared ownership. In partnership with the family we aim to equip each child with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes, so that they can adopt an active, informed and confident approach to future educational and social opportunities.
2. We believe that good behaviour and discipline are key foundations of good education.

We aim to :-
1. Develop in all our pupils a positive self image respect for self and others and basic virtues of honesty, fairness and courtesy.
2. Create conditions for an orderly community in which effective teaching and learning can take place; where there is mutual respect between all its members and where there is proper concern for the school environment and wider world.
The school has a positive attitude to racial equality and has adopted a Race Relations policy incorporating anti-racism, equal opportunities, anti bullying and our whole school behaviour policy.

These policies are on display for parents information in the main foyer.
